Histoire d’Ô

The title of this series, Histoire d'Ô, is a playful pun with layered meanings. In French, the sound "/o/" refers to "eau," meaning water. However, the "O" also symbolizes the circle of life, evoking ideas of continuity, and the essential cycles that sustain existence. By choosing this title, I aimed to highlight the dual significance of water—both as a literal element and as a metaphor for the natural cycles that shape our world.

In today's context, where water has become an increasingly sensitive and urgent subject due to climate change, pollution, and scarcity, Histoire d'Ô serves as a tribute to this most precious and vital resource —an acknowledgment of its beauty, power, and irreplaceable role in sustaining life on our planet. Water, often taken for granted in our daily lives, is the foundation upon which all life depends. Without it, life on Earth would simply not exist.
