Portrait of Dao

Most religious and philosophical movements emphasize humanity and often place humans at the center of existence. However, Daoism offers a distinct perspective by emphasizing harmony between humans and the natural world. One of its core teachings is that human life is just a small part of the larger process of nature. Daoism encourages individuals to recognize this and align their actions with the natural flow of the universe, known as the Dao, or the Way. According to Daoist philosophy, actions that are in harmony with nature are the only ones that truly make sense. This belief highlights the importance of living in balance with the world around us, rather than asserting dominance over it.

The present series aims to reflect this fundamental principle, illustrating the Daoist view of life’s interconnectedness and the importance of following the Way to achieve true harmony with nature.
